Buta King (a ramen restaurant) Brief Report
I felt like having a hearty meal, so I decided to try Buta King (a ramen restaurant) that I had been curious about for a while. They are known for their Jiro-style ramen, and I had heard some buzz about it, with long lines during lunchtime.
This time, I had some free time, so I decided to check it out.
They offered soy sauce, miso, and tsukemen, and I chose miso. I bought a meal ticket and took a seat, placing my order for the Jiro-style ramen. I went with extra garlic and extra oil.
Upon closer inspection, it seemed they had also started offering ginger toppings, but I didn't notice until after placing my order, so I decided to try it next time.
And here it came!
Wow... it's really piled high!
However, the people nearby had ordered extra vegetables, so it still looked like a small portion – it's like magic.
Before the noodles arrived, I started nibbling on the bean sprouts. Surprisingly, it was quite easy to eat despite its appearance. The garlic added a delicious kick (I'm a garlic enthusiast). At first, I wondered if I could finish it all, but I did so without any trouble!
The meat portion was also generous! I left feeling completely satisfied.
I even had some Ebius tablets on the table. Since I ate a lot, it might be a good idea to take them.
Anyway, thanks to the Ebius tablets, I didn't experience any stomach discomfort.
When I got home, my wife told me I smelled like garlic, and it lasted until the next day... I need to be more careful about that!
In any case, I recommend it for anyone who wants to eat a large quantity! Next time, maybe I'll try the soy sauce flavor.
